We are proud to proclaim that we have created and added yet another patch for a Lucas Arts Classic Title to our website. You can now enjoy playing Maniac Mansion: Day of the Tentacle Floppy Version on your Retro PC or DOSBox in their respective English, German, Spanish, Italian and even French Version, without having to resort to ScummVM.

As you know, we use different research methods of patching these games – seeing that no one else did it. In this case, we examined an Old Byte Patch for the English Version done by RAZOR and enhanced the patch to support all language options, so that the Floppy Version of this game now behaves the same as the CD-ROM Version – the Copy Protection is being skipped entirely.

Again, this patch is unique and exclusive to our site and Archive Mirror, you will not find it anywhere else.

If you enjoy the game, you can also head to GOG and buy the Remastered Version of this classic, but we believe the Original Version is – as always – the best one to play.
