The art of cracking is mostly shrouded in mystery, hidden from the public eye and a feared skill by many. But is this really dark art or can it be used for good purposes aswell – like preservation? On these pages we will uncover some of the tools we have used to create our patches, so that you can dive into this interesting topic just like we did. We are not experts in the field and we do not claim to be. We are seekers constantly learning, just like you. Learning never ends.

We will give our sight on the matter. Do keep in mind that our choice of tools might differ from those published by other sites, mainly because we developed our own workflow. Cracking is – for the most part – an individual skill. You will need to find your own way around the twists and turns of software protection, so that you can outsmart its creator and score your first successful attempts.
