Update: No Agreement Reached with BMC
Unfortunately, we were unable to reach an agreement with Buy Me a Coffee (BMC). We are therefore working on our own support system, allowing you to obtain keyfiles directly from DOSGAME.AT in the future. This also requires us to update all our existing loaders, which will take some time. Of course, new releases will continue as usual!
Dear DOS gamers,
Today, we'd like to give you a brief update on the BMC situation we previously reported.
Unfortunately, we were unable to reach an agreement with our long-standing partner for our support system. The discussions were respectful, friendly and constructive. Ultimately, however, BMC maintained its original position and no longer wishes to provide its services to DOSGAME. With that, the chapter of "Buy Me a Coffee" is now closed for us.
Over the coming weeks, we will be working on a new system that will allow us to provide keyfiles directly through our own website. This will not only be more secure, but also simpler and more centralized. Most likely, you will no longer have to leave our website to make a voluntary contribution.
The downside is that we now have to recompile all our existing loaders, as the QR code linking to the BMC page will no longer be valid. This process will certainly take several weeks, and setting up the new system will naturally require additional time.
Nevertheless, we will do our best to ensure that this situation does not put you at a disadvantage. In the meantime, we will continue to provide you with new content as usual.
