Electro Man / Electro Body

Electro Man, also known as Electro Body, is one of those distinctive DOS action games that are remembered as much for their fast side-scrolling gameplay as for the many retail and shareware builds that circulated over time. That variety also made the game a little awkward to handle on modern systems, because different releases use different protection checks, files and internal engine layouts. Our release is therefore aimed at owners of the original game or the original game files who want a straightforward way to launch it today with practical support built in.

Our universal loader and trainer detects the installed build automatically and only enables the functions that match that version. On the supported Electro Body full releases, we bypass the original copy-protection check with version-specific handling, while God Mode and Infinite Ammo are patched at the correct runtime locations for each engine build. For Electro Man versions, we can also restore the original “Jesus is here” checkpoint voice sample in memory. Supported Electro Body builds additionally get convenient video and sound selection, including VGA, EGA or CGA as well as SoundBlaster, PC Speaker or Covox.
