Ishar - Legend of the Fortress is one of the early DOS role-playing games that combines atmosphere, exploration, and a classic party structure. Released by Silmarils for IBM PC / DOS, it is still remembered for its distinctive style and its self-contained design. Our release is aimed at players who want to use the original game or work with their own existing files while having a reliable and convenient way to start the game today.
Our Legacy Protection Fix / Trainer removes the protection check from the supported original version and adds practical quality-of-life tools for regular play. That includes a savegame editor as well as changes to the saving routine, so saving no longer requires the original gold fee. We also include a Quick Turn enhancement on Left Shift plus the movement keys, while the original mouse-click function on Right Shift remains available. The verified original files are only modified for the current session and restored after exit; the Spanish retail release is supported as a separate profile as well.
