Storm Master was developed by Silmarils and released for DOS in 1992.
Storm Master is one of Silmarils’ more distinctive DOS games: a demanding strategy title with its own interface, economy, ship construction and religious ceremonies, and one that does not explain itself quickly. That is why we have paired our release not only with a start solution, but also with integrated reference material that makes the original game structure much easier to approach.
Our Legacy Protection Fix automatically detects the documented original versions and launches the correct file on its own. Depending on the build, it can bypass the original keydisk or manual protection check, or briefly restore the original verification state before launch so everything remains consistent. Unknown or modified files are intentionally left untouched instead of being patched for the wrong version. This release is intended for owners of the original game or the original game files who want a clean, version-matched way to start their own copy.
