Pushover was created as a promotional game for Quavers, whose mascot Colin Curly provides the game’s framing story.
Pushover from Ocean is one of those classic DOS puzzle games where careful planning and timing matter more than speed. That combination still makes the game engaging today, but it can also introduce a few unnecessary pauses along the way. Our release is aimed at players who own the original game and want to enjoy the GOG version with a little more comfort while keeping the experience intact.
Our +2 trainer addresses the most annoying bottlenecks directly: it removes or freezes the time limit, giving us the space to tackle puzzles at our own pace. It also skips the intro, which gets us into the game faster. For the GOG offline installer version, we place PUSHTRN.COM and dosbox_pushover_single.conf into the installation directory and allow the configuration file to be overwritten; after that, the game is started as usual through the GOG launcher.
