About the game

Strip Poker Professional Volume I is one of those early DOS releases that is interesting both as a game and as a piece of protection-era software. Our release is aimed at players who own the original and want to bring it back to life in a clean DOS or DOSBox setup today. This is not a new game edition with included copyrighted data; instead, we prepare a local install from your own ISO so the protected content becomes usable again and the game ends up ready to run.

Our Team Unlocker decrypts the required TEAM1.VCL to TEAM6.VCL data locally, rebuilds TEAM0.VCL as a complete container, and adds the missing team resources so the internal load paths work correctly again. We also disable the local CD path checks, enable the save-game write path, and write the required PREFS.PRF records. Version 1.1 fixes the known pot bug where the pot was not reset to 0 at the start of the second game. Optionally, PSWRD can be removed, giving owners of the original files a tidy, ready-to-run DOS/DOSBox folder.
