007: James Bond – The Stealth Affair, also known as Operation Stealth, is one of Delphine Software’s classic action-adventure releases and firmly tied to the early DOS era. Its spy setting and Bond connection make it a good example of the kind of original version many players now want to revisit without wrestling with period-specific startup hurdles. Our release focuses on that practical side and keeps the solution lightweight.

With our loader, we bypass the copy-protection or protection check used by the supported original versions. It detects and supports the documented English, German, and French floppy releases, including the Advanced editions and even the original James Bond-themed version. Delphine didn’t build a Bond fireworks show here; it made a brisk spy adventure with a clear direction: international locations, an operational goal, and that early-’90s mix of action pressure and puzzle work that fit DOS remarkably well. The official Bond branding is almost the loudest thing about it, because the game also circulated as Operation Stealth, and the contemporary press generally treated it as a solid, atmospheric production with respectable presentation. You can feel that the design cares more about staging than about puzzle gymnastics, which is exactly why it still plays with a certain straight-line elegance once the old protection layer is out of the way. For owners of the original floppy release, that makes this a tidy route that keeps the historical version intact and avoids muddling the language editions.
