Dylan Dog: The Looking Glass / Attraverso lo Specchio

Dylan Dog: Attraverso lo Specchio is part of the Italian DOS adaptations around the well-known detective from the horror-comic world. Our release combines both episodes in one loader and makes starting the game much more convenient without changing the original experience. Depending on the files present, we automatically detect whether Episode 1, Episode 2, or both versions are installed in the same directory, and we only show the matching launch options.

The main benefit of our release is handling the old document protection check. When enabled, we can temporarily bypass the check for the episode being started, so the game runs without the manual hurdle; after a normal exit, the original executable is restored. We also provide convenient MT-32 and AdLib sound switching where available and automatically launch the required NEWMIDIL.EXE before the game. The built-in game instructions are available directly from the loader as well. The download is intended for owners of the original game or the original game files who want a clean and convenient DOS start.
