Oxyd was first developed for the Atari ST in 1990 and later ported to DOS, among other systems.
OXYD - General Edition is a classic DOS puzzle game with several well-known versions, which we are making accessible here in a modern release context. Our loader is aimed at players who own the original game and want a more convenient way to start it today.
Our release automatically detects the supported versions and applies the appropriate protection and startup adjustments. These include static level codes, removal of the “Magic Stones”, and the option to start the game in DOSBox in two-player Link Mode.
We believe this is the best way to enjoy OXYD in 2026.
