OSIRIS is a classic DOS puzzler from the Pixlers Entertainment environment, and our release prepares it for convenient use on modern systems. If you know the game, you will remember the protection check and the small bits of information that were not always easy to access in the original release. That is exactly where our loader comes in: it bypasses the copy-protection or protection check of the supported original version and also displays hidden codes, level codes, or manual information that can be useful while playing.

To make that work reliably, we use the included file unpacker in the background and then start the game automatically through LOAD.COM. Our release is intended for owners of the original game or the original game files; we locally prepare the existing files so OSIRIS can run without the intrusive protection messages. Once F1 is set to YES, the relevant error messages should no longer appear.
