Berlin Connection by Berliner Morgenpost is one of those DOS releases where access to the game is shaped as much by the old protection routine as by the game itself. Our release addresses exactly that point: we make the supported original version directly startable without the original copy-protection or protection check standing in the way. The result keeps the historical feel intact while making the game much easier to launch on modern systems.
To use our release, place LOAD.COM in the installation directory and start the game through it. The loader handles the protection bypass during normal execution, so there is no need to alter the original game files. This release is meant for owners of the original game or the original game files who want a clean and convenient way to run it. It is based on the TSR work from old-games.ru, which we refined for DOSGAME.AT.
